For Organisations & Schools · Manchester & Nationwide
Bespoke mental health workshops and training programmes for organisations who understand that wellbeing is not a perk — it's a foundation. Evidence-based, human-centred, built to last.
Not a one-day event. A long-term investment in the people who make your organisation exceptional.
What We Deliver
Each workshop is bespoke — designed around your team's specific challenges, culture, and goals. No off-the-shelf content.
Developing the capacity to recognise, understand, and manage emotions in yourself and others. Foundation for effective communication and leadership.
Practical tools for managing pressure and building sustainable working patterns. Grounded in polyvagal theory and neuroscience.
Understanding how trauma shapes behaviour in the workplace — and how leaders can create environments of genuine psychological safety.
Using group therapy principles and process work to decode team patterns, reduce conflict, and build the conditions for honest collaboration.
Applied mindfulness — not just meditation, but present-moment awareness as a practical tool for focus, decision-making, and interpersonal effectiveness.
Dialectical Behaviour Therapy tools adapted for the workplace: distress tolerance, emotional regulation, and skills for navigating difficult conversations.
How It Works
A no-obligation conversation to understand your organisation's specific challenges, team dynamics, and goals. We listen before we design.
A tailored programme built around your people — drawing from multiple evidence-based modalities to address your specific context. No templates.
Facilitated workshops delivered in person or virtually, followed by check-ins and follow-up support to ensure lasting behavioural change — not just a training day.
What Clients Say
Waqas has a rare ability to hold space for an entire team — challenging, warm, and deeply knowledgeable. Our sessions fundamentally shifted how we talk about mental health at work.
The stress regulation workshop gave our managers concrete tools, not just awareness. Three months later, the difference in how teams communicate is tangible.
We've had mental health training before — this was different. Waqas connected the theory to our actual day-to-day reality. Staff left genuinely changed.

The Framework
Every workshop draws eclectically from evidence-based frameworks — applied not academically, but practically, within your organisational context.
Understanding how unconscious patterns and relational histories shape team behaviour — enabling more honest conversations about what's really driving dysfunction.
Using the group itself as a tool for learning. Present-moment awareness applied to team dynamics, communication, and collective decision-making.
Practical, structured tools for emotional regulation and interpersonal effectiveness — adapted from clinical use into accessible workplace skills.
A clear lens for understanding how communication patterns form, why they persist, and how to shift them — particularly useful for leadership and conflict work.
The neuroscience of safety and threat — helping teams understand their own nervous system responses and create conditions where people can do their best work.
Principles from existential group therapy applied to the team context — fostering genuine interpersonal learning, accountability, and cohesion.
The Person Behind the Work
Waqas Maqsood began his career on psychiatric wards at 21 — working with individuals experiencing paranoia, psychosis, and acute crisis. He later worked as a sole therapist in addiction rehabilitation, before building a specialism in workplace wellbeing and organisational psychology.
That clinical background is what makes the difference in organisational work. Understanding trauma, relational dynamics, and group behaviour at a clinical level allows him to go where most facilitators can't — and hold what most facilitators couldn't.
His approach is warm but direct. He doesn't deliver presentations at teams. He works with them.
