Integrative Psychotherapy · Manchester

Changing the world,
one conscious
step at a time.

More than therapy — a movement of the mind. A revolution of thought, consciousness, and connection for those who feel misunderstood, unreachable, or overlooked.

"The whole is greater than the sum of its parts."

Our Philosophy

This is therapy reimagined — a strategic blend of scientific, spiritual, and emotional approaches, shaping the future of human connection.

The Story

Built from lived
experience, not just theory.

The story began at 21 — on a psychiatric ward.

Working with individuals experiencing paranoia, psychosis, and profound internal struggle gave me a deep understanding of how fragile, yet resilient, the human psyche can be. It made me reflect on how we are all, to some degree, prisoners of our own mental patterns — repeating behaviours that no longer serve us because we've been convinced they keep us safe.

As I continued working in professional organisations, I noticed a disconnect — humanity, individuality, and true interpersonal connection were often lost in systems designed for efficiency and protocol. Conventional approaches frequently overlook those who don't fit neatly into standardised categories.

Conscious Contemplation emerged as a response to this gap — a space where individuality is not just accepted, but central. Where rigid frameworks are replaced with nuanced, human-focused approaches.

After completing my Neuroscience degree and later my Masters in Integrative Counselling, working as a sole qualified therapist in addiction rehabilitation, I confronted doubt, fear, imposter syndrome, and isolation. Experiences that ultimately sharpened my understanding of human suffering — and the tools needed to facilitate healing.

The Approach

Six modalities.
One integrated practice.

Psychodynamic Therapy

Exploring unconscious patterns, early relational experiences, and the ways the past shapes present behaviour. Deep work that lasts.

Gestalt Therapy

Focusing on present-moment awareness, personal responsibility, and the integration of all parts of the self — thought, feeling, and action.

Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT)

Practical, evidence-based tools for emotional regulation, distress tolerance, mindfulness, and improving interpersonal effectiveness.

Transactional Analysis

Understanding relational dynamics through the lens of ego states — helping to decode communication patterns and build healthier connections.

Polyvagal-Informed Work

A neurobiological approach to healing — understanding the nervous system's role in safety, connection, and the body's response to trauma.

Process Groups (Yalom)

Inspired by Irvin Yalom's existential approach — using the group as a living laboratory for interpersonal learning, connection and healing.

Vision

A high-quality service for those who need it most.

To provide a high-quality, integrative mental health service offering people the depth of support they cannot find in mainstream settings. Creating spaces where those who feel misunderstood or overlooked receive skilled, attentive, and genuinely transformative care.

Mission

Accessible care, grounded in professional integrity.

To deliver an accessible and effective mental health service grounded in clinical skill and years of experience working with individuals rejected or underserved by traditional systems. Drawing on integrative therapy, group work, and specialist experience in addiction, trauma, and relational patterns — offering an alternative pathway where people can finally be understood, supported, and guided toward lasting change.
